The customer needed a scalable, secure network architecture for inverter station control cabinets that would support reliable monitoring and control, without compromising availability.
Solution & Results
Moxa implemented a robust, cybersecure network and data connectivity layer using IEC 62443-4-2 certified devices installed in the inverter station control cabinets. The solution combined EDS-4008/EDS-4012 managed switches with MGate MB3270 and ioLogik E1200 for reliable field integration. The upgraded infrastructure delivers a resilient and manageable solar farm network for continuous operations, improves maintainability, and provides a future-ready platform to scale toward larger projects and broader control-room integration.
