This lab tour contains a small-scale network setup in our office lab, representing an industrial control network (ICS). It includes standard components like network backbone, I/O controller, PLC, IP camera, alarm tower, and network monitoring.

What we want to show you:

• Intrusion prevention and intrusion detection against known vulnerabilities
• Virtual patching for new known vulnerabilities
• Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) designed for industrial communication protocol
• Object-based firewall rules
• Attacks exploiting PLC vulnerabilities and industrial protocol visibility
• Security monitoring

With this demo box you can test how different types of cybersecurity attacks can cause problems in industrial control systems (ICS) and also how to defend the network using Moxa security appliances. This ICS contains a SCADA and PLC that is controlling the production line, and the Moxa cybersecurity IPS device, IPS firewall, and security management software.
